Friday 14 October, at the Scuola Normale in Pisa, CEST – Centro per Eccellenza e gli Studi Transdisciplinari, in collaboration with the publishing house Voland, is presenting an afternoon of debate on the identities of students of the Scuola Normale Superiore. The discussion will have as its starting point the book Etica dell’acquario (Voland, 2015), a livre noir set at the Scuola Normale; it is the debut novel of Ilaria Gaspari, PhD in Philosophy and former student of the Scuola Normale.

It will begin at 5.00 pm, in the Bianchi (Lettere) Hall, chaired by Matteo Zupancic, student of the Scuola Normale, Guido Vitiello (Assistant Professor at the Sapienza University of Rome) and Orsetta Innocenti (Lecturer at I.I.S.S. ‘A. Pesenti’ in Cascina) will talk with Ilaria Gaspari, author of the volume.

Ilaria Gaspari

She was born in Milan in 1986. She received her degree in Philosophy at the Scuola Normale in Pisa and obtained her doctorate in Paris. She presently lives and works in Rome. Etica dell’acquario (Voland, 2015) is her first novel.

Lecturer at the I.I.S.S. ‘A. Pesenti’ in Cascina (Pisa, Italy).  

Guido Vitiello

Assistant Professor of Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at the Sapienza University of Rome. He writes in Il Foglio and Internazionale.
