Study day on the Constitutional Reform

A multidisciplinary study-day in view of the referendum of December 4.

Monday 28 November there will be a study day on Constitutional reform at the Luigi Einaudi Campus (CLE, Lungodora Siena 100). The initiative will be divided into three subject sessions – one on Constitutional history, one on Economics, and one on Law – that will culminate in a concluding round table discussion. Work will begin at 9:00 ams in hall F3 of the CLE; in the afternoon, the meeting will take place in hall A2, also at the CLE.

20 speakers from various Italian universities will be involved.

At the concluding round table discussion two ‘No’ voices, Alessandro Pace (Emeritus Professor of Constitutional Law, Sapienza University of Rome) and Armando Spataro (Chief Public Prosecutor of Turin) will face two ‘Yes’ voices, Beniamino Caravita Di Toritto (Professor of Public Law, Sapienza University of Rome) and Luciano Violante (Emeritus President of the Chamber of Deputies). The event will be chaired by Maurizio Molinari, Director of La Stampa.

The event is accredited by the Bar Association of Turin and by the Department of Law of the University of Turin for the recognition of educational credits. The Order recognises 2 CF, the Department of Jurisprudence recognises 1 CFU.
