Hello, can you hear me? Added value and inequalities in a global market
On September 20th and 21st, La Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) will host the Conference “Hello, can you hear me? Added value and inequalities in a global market“. The event is promoted by CEST and funded by the Young Scholars Initiative – INET and by the “Luigi Einaudi” Research Centre.
We are now delighted to invite young scholars to apply for the call for papers and posters: the best contributions will be selected to be presented during the conference. To submit a paper or a poster, interested applicant should present an extended abstract (ca. 1000 words for papers; ca. 500 words for posters) of an original work concerning one of the topics that will characterize the Conference.
In this scenario, we are particularly interested in: (i) defining the role that Global Value Chains (GVCs) play in both developed and developing countries; (ii) macro- and micro-economic consequences of GVCs and their impact on development and inequalities; (iii) investigating the effects of GVCs on labor and financial markets.
Don’t miss important dates:
• June 29th: Deadline for abstract submission;
• July 9th: Notification of acceptance;
• September 1st: Deadline for final version submission;
• September 20th-21st: Conference.
